Had a client ghost after I sent 3 rounds of logo revisions last week in Austin

They kept asking for tweaks then stopped replying when I asked for final approval, and I'm out 2 weeks of work with no payment. Has anyone else dealt with clients who disappear after you do all the free changes?

Man I feel your pain. Back in 2019 I had a client in LA ghost me after 4 revision rounds on a logo and they owed me $800. Learned my lesson the hard way. Now I only give 2 free revisions then I send a contract that says after that it's $50 per revision and they gotta sign off. If they stop replying I just send a polite invoice for the hours I already did and remind them of the payment terms. You gotta protect yourself upfront or people will walk all over you. Next time collect a deposit before you do anything, like 50% at least, so youre not stuck with nothing.

Is that really enough though? I feel like people will still find a way to argue over the $50 changes.
