Client asked for unlimited revisions then ghosted after draft 3
Last Tuesday I sent a logo concept to a freelance client who promised payment within 7 days and after 3 rounds of tweaks they just vanished with the vector files and haven't replied to my last 5 emails, has anyone else had someone pull this on a project under $500?

Honestly I used to think deposit requests were kind of insulting to clients but this is exactly why you always take at least half upfront.

Wait have you actually had someone bail after you finished the work? Because that's exactly why I stopped taking anything less than half upfront. It filters out the people who aren't serious and saves you from chasing payments for weeks. Plus it covers your time and materials if they ghost you halfway through. Tbh the clients who push back on a deposit are usually the ones who cause the most headaches anyway.
