I do web design and this guy reached out about a full site rebuild for his company. He swore up and down that $12k was his max and that the site was 'small, just a few pages.' Out of curiosity I ran a site crawl and it came back with 4,013 pages, mostly old blog posts and product listings from 2011. When I sent him the screenshot he went quiet for two days and came back with 'oh yeah, we forgot about those.' I still can't figure out if he was lying or if he genuinely never looked at his own site in a decade. How do you all handle a prospect who lowballs you and gets caught? Do you walk or do you re-quote and see what happens?
