Warning: I pitched a logo with a friendly little owl and the client asked if it was 'giving tax collector'
Met with a bakery owner in Portland 3 weeks ago and showed her my final owl mark, soft round edges and all, and she stared at it for a solid minute before saying it looked like it audits people for a living. I redrew the whole thing as a loaf of bread with a face and she loved it in 5 minutes. Never thought a bird could read as IRS to anyone. Anyone else get a comparison so weird it made you rethink your whole portfolio?
