That time a nest of bees almost got me in a flue in Vermont
Was sweeping a old farmhouse last week and pulled the brush out to find a swarm of angry yellow jackets in the liner. Had to plug the bottom with rags and fog them with insect killer before I could finish the job. Anyone else run into critters in a chimney mid-sweep?

Yellow jackets are the worst, pulled a whole nest out of a chimney cap last July.
