Rotary brush snapped mid-job on a 3-story flue in Denver yesterday
Was cleaning a rental property flue, third floor, heavy creosote buildup. Got about halfway through and heard a pop. The wire wheel on my rotary cleaner just straight up detached from the shaft. Took me an hour to fish the pieces out with a magnet on a pole. Customer was standing there watching the whole time. Anyone else had these fail without warning?

Used to think those rotary brushes were pretty foolproof till something like that happens. Changed my mind real quick after hearing stories like this.

Wait, are people actually having these brushes fail on them more often than you'd think, or is it just the loud minority online making it seem that way?
