Why does nobody mention that a bushel of sweet corn only yields about 18 dozen cobs worth of cut kernels
I was prepping for a Saturday corn chowder special at our spot in Omaha and weighed my yield after cutting 5 bushels, and seeing 4.5 gallons of kernels from all that work honestly made me rethink the whole dish (and my prep labor cost), so how do you all handle the yield math when a veg costs you 20 minutes a bushel before it even hits the pot?
