Wasted $120 on a power stretcher attachment I never needed
Bought that stair-nose attachment back in '09 thinking it'd speed things up, sat in the van for two years before I sold it for 30 bucks. Anyone else got gear sitting around that sounded good at the supply house but never left the bag?

Man, that hits home. Used to think every fancy tool was worth the hype until I did the math on what actually gets used. Now I just ask myself if it solves a problem I have TODAY, not one I might have someday.
