Walked a new build yesterday and the tack strip gaps were all over
Stopped by a spec home in Buckeye to check on a buddy's crew and saw tack strip left 3 inches off the walls in a few rooms, plus a seam lying right over a door threshold. I get being rushed, but that's a call-back waiting to happen with any stretch. Has anyone else seen builders push for a finish that sloppy just to hit a closing date?
