Tried a power stretcher vs a knee kicker on a big living room job in Phoenix
Was doing a 20x15 room with thick plush carpet last week. Normally I just use the knee kicker for everything cause that's what I learned on. Got tired of re-stretching the same spots three times. Borrowed a buddy's power stretcher and holy cow the difference. The carpet laid flat in one pass and stayed tight. Knee kicker works fine for small closets or bathrooms but for anything over like 200 sq ft I'm switching. Anyone else have a room size cutoff where they swap tools?

Did you notice the power stretcher saving you time overall too?

stellag21 man the power stretcher saved my back more than anything lol. after the first couple rooms i was flying through seams way faster than with a knee kicker. definitely made the whole job feel less like a workout.
