Took me 8 years to notice my seam roller was backwards

Was watching a guy on YouTube from Ohio do a basement job and realized he was holding his seam roller with the handle pointing away from him. I've been doing it the other way forever. Has anyone else found out they were using a basic tool wrong after way too long?

Eight years is rough lmao. I used a speed square backwards for basically my whole first year framing decks before someone finally pointed it out. Felt like a total clown when I realized the numbers were all upside down to me.

Eight years is pretty funny but don't beat yourself up. Speed squares are weird that way with the numbers going both directions. At least you got the cuts right even if the tool was upside down. That's more than some guys can say.
