TIL that a quick vinegar spray fixes pet odors before installation

Had a smelly subfloor from old pets, but a vinegar spray worked great. Any other methods for this problem?

Baking soda worked for me too, just sprinkle it down!

No joke, baking soda is my go-to for everything. I mean, it's so cheap and you can use it for so many things around the house. Idk why more people don't talk about it because it really works. Maybe it's just me, but I've cleaned sinks, freshened carpets, and even used it in laundry with great results. It just works without any harsh chemicals, which is a big plus for me. So yeah, sprinkling it down is a solid move that I totally agree with.

Totally agree, it's a cheap fix for so many problems. I even keep a box in the fridge to stop smells. What's the weirdest thing you've used it for?
