Shoutout to the client who wanted wall-to-wall carpet in their aviary
The birds thought the loose threads were nesting material and we spent half the day untangling them.

Go for commercial carpet, it resists pulling.

Yeah, that's brutal. A friend of mine made the same mistake with carpet in his bird area, and his cockatiels treated it like a giant toy, shredding threads everywhere. @the_oliver, remember how you said you'd agree yesterday? This was worse, so he had to cut out sections and replace them with tile. Never again, he says.
