Serious question, has anyone else had a client in a Phoenix condo insist on a specific pattern match that took an extra day?

The HOA there had a rule about the hallway carpet looking seamless, so I had to cut and seam around six doorways to keep the pattern flowing perfectly.

That's a good point, @gavin_mason31. A buddy of mine did a similar job in a high-rise in Scottsdale, and he said the HOA board president actually came by with a tape measure and a straight edge to check the pattern match at the seams. He had to redo a whole hallway junction because the repeat was off by a quarter inch. Said he learned real quick to triple-check the cut lengths before laying the glue.
