Remember when every installer had a knee kicker? Saw a crew in Atlanta using only power stretchers last week.

It made me think about how we used to argue over which was better, but now the old way is just gone. Anyone still use a knee kicker for certain jobs, or is it all power now?

You said the old way is just gone. What made you stop using one entirely?

Honestly just got tired of the upkeep and cost, lol. The new stuff works fine for me now.

I mean, is it really that big of a deal though? It's just a tool. If a knee kicker gets the job done for a small repair or a weird corner, who cares if it's old school. The drama over which one is "better" always felt like guys just wanting to argue about something, lmao. Power stretchers are great for big rooms, but acting like the other tool is dead forever is a bit much.
