Power stretcher or knee kicker for large rooms? I see guys using knee kickers on 20 foot runs and it drives me crazy.

I was in a house in Austin last week where the previous installer used a knee kicker on a 25 foot living room and there were ripples everywhere. A power stretcher costs like 200 bucks but it saves you from callbacks and gives a way tighter finish. So do you think knee kickers are fine for big open spaces or is that just asking for trouble?

Lazy maintenance all around" is exactly it @joseph_west59. Same pattern I see with people using a butter knife as a screwdriver then wondering why their cabinets are scratched up. The right tool just prevents so much headache down the road.

Use a power stretcher for anything over 12 feet or you're just wasting your time. I swear people are scared of spending the money and learning the tool even though it makes the job way easier and better looking. It's like how folks will ignore every warning light in their car until it completely dies, just lazy maintenance all around.
