Sloped floor on a 1920s rehab threw my whole cabinet install off

I was leveling base cabinets in a Beacon Hill kitchen last Tuesday and the floor dropped a full 1.25 inches over an 8 foot run, so I shimmed everything up to plumb, but the toe kick ended up looking like a staircase, has anyone else just cut a custom scribed plywood base instead of fighting it with shims?

I've been there more times than I can count, and it's the worst kind of frustration because you did the math right but the house just laughs at you. That 1.25 inch drop over 8 feet is brutal for a 1920s place, those old floors never played fair. Honestly, cutting a scribed plywood base is the way to go if you can handle the extra time. I've done it on a few jobs where shims just made everything look like crap, and it cleans up the whole install.
