Saw a new condo building in Denver with the worst crown molding joints I've ever seen, like they used a butter knife.

It was so bad it made me wonder if the crew even owned a miter saw, or if they just eyeballed everything with a hand saw and called it a day.

Oh man, that's brutal. Sounds like they hired a guy whose only tool was a spork. You'd think for the price of a Denver condo they could at least spring for the cheap plastic miter box from the hardware store. Honestly, it's probably a sign to run from the whole building if they let that slide. Somebody signed off on that mess.

What kind of inspection process did they even have? That level of hack work doesn't just happen by accident. Makes you wonder what else they cut corners on that you can't see right away. The whole project management side of things must be a total joke.

The "only tool was a spork" line got me... reminds me of this time my cousin tried to fix his own deck and used a hammer to drive a screw. Took him three days and the thing collapsed under a grill. Just makes you wonder what other stuff got the spork treatment in that building.
