Saw a huge difference in job site dust after I switched to a Festool track saw last fall

I used to spend 20 minutes after every cut cleaning up with a broom, now I just wipe the crumbs off and move on, has anyone else found a tool that changed their cleanup routine that much?

I read a blog post last year from some contractor who switched to a cordless vacuum attachment for his saws, said it cut his cleanup time by like 70%. Festool stuff is great but expensive, so I tried a cheaper knockoff first and honestly it helped a ton but not as much as the real deal. My buddy got a dust separator for his shop vac and he raves about it, says he doesn't even bother sweeping anymore. Might be worth looking into if you're still stuck with a broom.

Are you guys really spending that much time sweeping that a 70% cut is life changing? I mean, I get it if you're running a crew and production is everything, but for a hobby shop or weekend warrior it's hard to see the return on a Festool setup. Those separators are nice but they take up space and cost money too. Seems like a lot of fuss over sawdust that you could just sweep up in five minutes. Maybe I'm just lazy but I end up with a shop vac hose in one hand and a broom in the other and it's fine. Not everything needs to be a system.
