Rant: a trim guy in Boise told me he nails baseboard to the studs, and I have been fixing his gaps for 3 years
He shoots 16 gauge straight into drywall with no stud behind it, so by the second winter the whole run pulls away from the wall. Has anyone else had to go behind someone like this, or am I the only one out here hunting studs with a magnet?
