Pro tip: I think everyone's wrong about using a 4-inch hole saw for sink drains

Mine grabbed and ripped the plywood subfloor last week, ruining a $150 sheet. I had to switch to a smaller pilot bit and work up in stages. Anyone have a better method for clean cuts in tight spaces?

Your "ripped the plywood" story is my life... I've donated so much subfloor to the hole saw gods.

Ever try a jigsaw with a fine blade after drilling a starter hole? That gave me way more control.
