Just hit frame number 500 on this custom built-in and I'm a little shocked

I've been working on a library wall unit for a house in Columbus for about 6 weeks now, and yesterday I counted the individual face frames I've assembled. 500 exactly, which felt insane because I never keep count. Most of them are the same repeating cabinet module, but there are like 30 odd sizes for the corners and around the window seat. It mattered because it proved my jig setup finally paid off, I made the last 200 in half the time it took for the first 100. Has anyone else ever had a number like that sneak up on them during a big project?

Heard a guy on a podcast talking about how builders never realize how many repetitive pieces they make until the end, and it blows their mind every time... 500 frames is wild though, bet your jig paid for itself a hundred times over by now.

500 face frames and you're only shocked now, that's like realizing you've eaten 500 sandwiches because the bread was on sale. My record was 214 custom shims for one staircase and I almost cried when I counted, mostly because the first 100 took me three weekends of pure misery. Sounds like your jig earned its keep, but honestly I'm more impressed you didn't start talking to the wood by frame 300.
