I always used wood glue on miters, then a guy in Toledo showed me CA glue and I switched
For 4 years I glued every miter joint with Titebond and clamped each one for 30 minutes, which killed my door and cabinet trim time. Last month a trim guy in Toledo showed me how he uses thin CA glue with an activator, and the joint sets in about 10 seconds strong enough to sand right away. I still use wood glue for big structural stuff, but has anyone else switched to CA glue for small trim and regretted it later?
