Bought a $200 laser level, used it twice, the bubble level won

Splurged on a fancy Bosch laser level for a kitchen remodel in Austin, and honestly my old $12 stick level did the job faster on the tight spots. Has anyone else paid big for a tool that just ends up collecting dust in the truck?
