My first interview handshake was so sweaty the manager just stared at his palm
Shook hands with the hiring manager in Austin and it felt like a wet dishrag, so I blurted out "sorry, been nervous since 8am" and he laughed. He told me later that line is the reason he remembered me out of 40 applicants. Has anyone else salvaged a bad first impression like that?
