Had a dream week at work then got slammed with a nightmare Monday

Last month I hit my best numbers ever, 47 picks per hour on Thursday alone. Boss even pulled me aside and said I was killing it. Then Monday came and the whole conveyor system jammed twice before 9am. My rate tanked to 22 and I got written up by a different supervisor. Is it just me or do the good days barely matter when one bad shift resets everything?
