Appreciation post: The moment I stopped winging my resume for every job

I used to just tweak a few bullet points before applying, but after 6 months of zero callbacks, I rewrote my entire resume around the specific job description for a warehouse supervisor role. Has anyone else noticed how much better results are when you start from scratch instead of editing an old version?

Oh my god, SAME. I did the exact same thing for a logistics coordinator job and got an interview within two weeks after months of nothing.

Wait till you hear about the ATS bot thing. I read somewhere that those systems literally scan for keywords from the job ad and if you don't have them your resume gets tossed before a human ever sees it. So the trick is to copy and paste the exact phrases they use into your resume, even if you reword them a bit. I saw this guy on Reddit who did that and got 3 interviews in a week. It's wild how many applications just vanish into the void because of a dumb algorithm.
