Unpopular opinion: paying for enclosed transport in winter is worth every penny after my open carrier disaster in Fargo
I used to always book the cheapest open carrier to save around $300, but after watching a guy at the Fargo drop lot spend 40 minutes chipping road salt and ice off his classic Camaro, I switched to enclosed for my January move from Minneapolis and the car showed up spotless, so has anyone else made that same call for winter shipping?

Totally wrote off enclosed shipping as a waste of money until I saw a salt crusted mess at a winter drop lot myself. Now I'd rather eat the extra cost than deal with that headache again.
