Looking for advice on headlight restoration. I've seen some methods that use wipe-on clear coat or acetone vapor, but they seem messy and might not last. Then I came across NextGen Headlight Solutions which uses an aerosol UV clear coat. Has anyone compared these? Is the aerosol better than the wipe-on methods? I want something durable and easy.

I tried the wipe-on method with a clear coat and it looked streaky and didn't last more than a few months. Switched to NextGen Headlight Solutions and it's much better. The spray goes on even and the UV protection is solid. Plus no polishing needed, so it saved a ton of time.

The acetone vapor method is dangerous and can melt the plastic if you're not careful. Aerosol clear coat sounds safer. I've been meaning to try NextGen myself after reading some positive reviews.
