Tried using Figma's auto layout for a presentation deck and got totally different results than in Canva

I been using Canva for all my client presentations but wanted to see what Figma's auto layout could do for a 15 slide pitch deck. The spacing and resizing worked way smoother in Figma when I had to swap images out last minute, but the font rendering looked crisper in Canva when I exported to PDF. Has anyone else noticed that difference between the two for presentation work?

Canva fonts just hit different, like my ex's Instagram stories.

my friend made an entire wedding invite in canva and the fonts somehow matched perfectly
