Took me 4 hours to fix a simple Figma prototype link that kept looping

I was building a clickable prototype for a client presentation and one button just kept sending me back to the homepage instead of the next screen. I checked all the connections like 3 times and they looked right. Turns out I accidentally had an old wireframe version sitting on top of the new one with a transparent overlay. So every time someone clicked the button they were hitting that hidden layer instead. That wasted my whole Tuesday afternoon and I almost missed the deadline. Does Canva handle that kind of stacking issue better or do they have the same hidden layer traps?

Happened to me in Sketch once, had a background layer blocking everything and couldn't figure out why nothing clicked.
