The whole 'Canva is only for beginners' take is just wrong

I keep seeing people act like Canva is just for making basic flyers but I use it for full brand decks with 30+ pages. Figma is great for prototyping but Canva's template system saves me 2 hours minimum on every client project. Has anyone else used Canva for complex corporate stuff and gotten weird looks from the Figma crowd?

But isn't Canva kind of limiting when you need actual custom code or complex interactions? I've had clients ask for stuff that would take forever to do in Canva compared to just building it in Figma from scratch.
