Showerthought: I thought auto layout was overhyped until my client asked for 12 banner sizes
Six months ago I told a friend auto layout was just a flexbox wrapper with extra steps and I kept building everything by hand in Figma. Then a bakery client in Portland wanted the same promo in 12 sizes and my manual copies fell apart on the third resize, so I rebuilt one frame with auto layout and the whole set held together in about 20 minutes. Am I late to this or does anyone else still drag boxes around by hand out of habit?
