Just wasted $60 on a Figma plugin that Canva does for free
Paid $60 for a mockup plugin in Figma that just places your design into phone screens, then realized Canva's built-in mockup tool does the same thing in two clicks. Anyone else get burned by overpaying for Figma plugins that Canva already covers?

Heard some developer on a podcast say half these plugin creators are just wrapping free open source code and slapping a price tag on it. Hard to feel bad when a quick search wouldve saved you 60 bucks.

Ehh I mean $60 is kinda steep but is it really that big of a deal? People act like buying a Figma plugin is the same as getting scammed out of rent money. You just learned a lesson, move on. Plus Canva's mockup tool is fine but it's not like it does everything. Some of those plugins have extra features that the free stuff just doesn't have. Were you actually planning to use Canva for mockups anyway or was this a panic buy situation?
