I swore Canva was fine for client decks until I tried building a 40 slide one
I used to think Canva was all I needed for everything, but after spending 6 hours fighting with text boxes on a 40 page pitch in Canva, I opened Figma and rebuilt the whole thing in 90 minutes using auto layout. The moment that got me was when I deleted one bullet and the whole section shifted down by itself instead of me dragging 12 boxes around. Anyone else switch sides on this, or am I late to the party?
Man, my buddy went through the exact same thing last month. He had this 30 page deck for a startup pitch and kept texting me at midnight about text boxes jumping all over the place in Canva. Switched to Figma, learned auto layout over a weekend, and now he won't shut up about how one drag fixes spacing across the whole page. You're not late, half the people I know are still doing the box-dragging thing and just think that's how it has to be.
