DAE keep resizing their Figma frames by dragging the edges instead of typing the exact number
I sat with a design lead in Austin last Thursday and watched her build a 1440px desktop frame by typing the width straight into the box in Figma, then do the same thing for every breakpoint after that. I had been dragging the handles for 8 months because it felt faster, but my frames kept landing on stuff like 1437 and 1442, so all my spacing looked slightly off and I could never figure out why. She said the drag handles snap to whatever your cursor hits, not to real numbers, and that is the whole problem in one sentence. Canva users get the same trap when they stretch elements on the canvas. So yeah, do you all type your sizes in by hand, or am I the only one still yanking corners around?
