Update: my $90 Therm-a-Rest NeoAir vs the $25 foam pad from Walmart after 6 nights in Joshua Tree
Took both pads to Joshua Tree in March and the cheap foam one actually let me sleep better on nights 3 through 6. I think the NeoAir traps too much heat under me, so I woke up sweaty around 2am every time. The foam pad weighed nothing on my back too, which I did not expect. Anyone else find that their fancy inflatable pad sleeps colder or hotter than advertised?
