Wow yeah I used to think stove issues were always about fuel or something obvious but that totally changed my mind after my own headache with a finicky igniter. Sometimes it really is the simplest dumb thing that takes forever to figure out.

Honestly, I heard from a gear reviewer once that most stove problems are actually user error, not a real mechanical failure. That stuck with me because it's so true - we always blame the equipment first. Tbh that quote about "the simplest dumb thing taking forever to figure out" really hits home. It's like when you forget to open the gas valve all the way or something equally basic. Ngl I'd probably have given up after 2 hours and just eaten cold food.
