That budget camp stove melted its own fuel line on my last trip to Lake Tahoe

I was making coffee Saturday morning and suddenly smelled burning plastic, looked down and the line was literally dripping onto the burner. Did I just get a dud or are these cheap stoves actually a fire hazard waiting to happen?

I mean yeah that's not great but you're probably fine. Those cheap stoves are basically disposable anyway, just get another one for like twenty bucks.

Makes me think of when my buddy fried his camping stove trying to cook pancakes inside his tent.
