I keep seeing reviews that say a 40 degree bag is fine for summer camping in the Rockies, and that's just wrong.

My buddy froze his butt off with a 40 degree bag in July up near Leadville. What elevation are these people camping at?

Are they camping in the actual mountains or a parking lot?
