Found my old camping stove from a trip to the Redwoods in 2019. It's a tiny, simple thing. Took it out last weekend and it just worked, no fuss. Makes me wonder if we overcomplicate things now.

My grandpa's old pocket knife still opens cans better than my fancy kitchen gadget.

Totally get that, like @terry_hayes18 said about the pocket knife. Feels like we keep adding features until the simple, reliable thing gets lost.
