Car camping with a 2 burner Coleman stove vs my little Jetboil and I finally picked a side
Spent last weekend at Allegany State Park and brought both setups to test. The Coleman stove let me cook real meals for two people in about 15 minutes, while the Jetboil took almost 40 minutes just to boil water for two cups of coffee. I'm not knocking the Jetboil for backpacking, but for car camping it just does not make sense to me anymore. Curious if anyone else has made the same switch, or if I'm missing something about the small stove that makes it worth it?
