A loud air pump ruined my campsite peace last weekend
I brought a new high-power air pump to inflate my sleeping pad. It was so loud that it woke up everyone in the nearby tents at dawn. People were giving me dirty looks all morning. Now I always check the decibel rating before buying gear. Save yourself the embarrassment and opt for a quiet model.
