That shutter count discovery at a garage sale in Tulsa
Picked up a beat-up Canon AE-1 at a garage sale in Tulsa for 15 bucks. Checked the mirror bumper and it was dust, so I replaced it for the first time with a kit from a shop in Ohio. Turns out the whole job took 20 minutes and now I'm not scared to open up old bodies anymore. Anyone else start with a clunker just to build nerve?
