That $140 ultrasonic cleaner was a total waste
Bought a cheap ultrasonic cleaner off Amazon for $140 to strip old shutters and it did nothing after 3 full cycles on a sticky Copal shutter from a 70s Spotmatic. The solution warmed up but the grime stayed put, turned out the transducer was barely 20 watts of actual output. Anyone else get burned by low wattage specs on these budget units or is there a real way to test them before buying?
