Rant: Why I refuse to repair throwaway cameras
These things are built to be garbage after one use. Our trade should focus on fixing gear that lasts.

See the point, but is it really that serious? They're meant to be disposable, so fixing them is more about the hobby than necessity. Maybe just let it go.

Yeah, "a little know-how" is the key part there. My know-how once turned a simple film advance into a box of tiny springs and a permanent feeling of shame. I managed to fix it, but the casing looked like it lost a fight with a lawnmower.
