PSA: Calibrating that old Leica rangefinder took me three full weekends, and it was still off by a hair.
Spending three weekends on tiny adjustments for an old rangefinder feels endless, but you must get it right.

Ugh, I heard that getting those vintage rangefinders spot-on is a TOTAL nightmare. Some guy in a forum said he gave up and sent his to a pro after weeks of trying.

Honestly a tiny screwdriver and some patience goes a long way.

Grab a small flathead screwdriver and adjust the tiny screw near the viewfinder window (the one on the front of the camera). It helps to have a test roll or a digital camera to check focus at infinity, like @robinmason said. The real trick is making tiny, tiny turns and checking after each one, because a little change makes a big difference.
