My old camera bench vs the new one - night and day difference

I used to work at a rickety wooden bench in my basement with a single goose neck lamp. About 6 months ago I upgraded to a proper steel worktable from a shop that was closing down downtown. The difference in stability alone made my soldering way better, no more wobbling when I'm trying to do delicate leaf shutter repairs. Has anyone else noticed a huge jump in quality just from changing your workspace setup?

Honestly, "dropped a lens repair in my coffee" is such a specific detail that I gotta ask - was the coffee worth it? Like @reese551, are we talking a quick cold brew loss or a full pour-over tragedy here? Tbh I need to know if you at least fished it out or just let it soak.
