Just found out how many tiny screws are in a 1980s Nikon F3

I was cleaning a used one I got from a guy in Tacoma last week, and I decided to count them as I went. There are 87 separate screws just in the top plate and prism housing. I looked it up in an old service manual PDF to check, and it's right there on the diagram. Has anyone else been shocked by the part count on a classic camera?

I used to think they were simpler inside.

But that's the whole point, Brian. If @the_terry is right and it's just chemicals, then the inside is the most complex mess there is.
