Burned $180 on a 'pro' ultrasonic cleaner, stick to the cheap one
Bought a fancy ultrasonic unit off eBay last month for my lens parts, it just stripped the coating off a front element I was cleaning... the $60 generic one I had before never did that. Anyone else have a bad run with higher-end cleaning gear?

My buddy wrecked his rare vintage lens the same way, that fancy unit is now a doorstop.
